Cottonwood Threads was born in the heart of a girl who loves all things beautiful: the mountains, the forests, artwork, literature, and, of course, beautiful clothing pieces. The inspiration for the name Cottonwood Threads came partly for her love of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, located near Salt Lake City, Utah. She loves their peace, their serenity, and their beauty. Not only that, but she loves the cottonwood trees that the canyons got their names from. It seemed only fitting that her shop name should have something to do with the cottonwoods she loves and cotton, the fabric that many of her favorite clothes are constructed from.

I am that girl. My name is Dana, and I started this shop in an effort to bring cute, classy, and stylish clothing to your doorstep at a great price. I am a single college grad living in Utah. I have always had a passion for clothing and style, and I started toying around with the idea of creating a boutique online. What started as just a dream has turned into this shop. I promise to only bring you pieces that I truly love.
